MOVING-IN DAY

• Moving-in day for new freshmen at the University at Albany is Saturday, Aug. 30.

• Residence hall check-in for all other students will start at 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 31.

• Most freshmen live at Indian Quad, where the Alumni Association will offer refreshments and live entertainment for parents and students from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as they arrive on Aug. 30.

• There will also be a barbecue for freshmen and their families at Indian and Dutch quads from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30.

• Opening ceremonies will be at 8:15 p.m. on the Academic Podium on Saturday, Aug. 30.
