ALBANY SPRING CLASSIC SET FOR FRIDAY, MAY 11 Albany, N.Y. — The seventh annual Albany Spring Classic and Adirondack USAT&F Track and Field Invitational, hosted by the University at Albany, will be held on Friday, May 11 at University Field. Field events begin at 2:00 p.m. with the men's and women's hammer throw and conclude with the men's and women's high jump at 5:00. The 400-meter hurdles is the first track competition scheduled at 3:00. The meet will finish with the 10,000-meter run at 8:30. Albany, Rensselaer, Union, Providence, Boston College and Colgate are among nearly 25 collegiate teams who have athletes competing in 23 women's events and 22 men's events.
