Resumption of Classes Thursday and Campus Unity Program |
Classes will resume tomorrow, Thursday, September 13. In light of yesterday's events,
the University at Albany will not hold scheduled classes Wednesday. However,
the institution and its facilities are open.
Two major events will occur during the day Wednesday. First, we are asking all
faculty, staff, and students to join us in a Campus Unity Walk. The walk
is an opportunity to come together as a UAlbany family and will commence
at 11:00 a.m. at the bus stop in front of the Collins Circle and will
conclude with a brief program on the lawn between the Science Library and
University Field. All members of the University of Albany community are
invited and encouraged to attend.
Faculty/staff and students are also encouraged to have lunch together in
the residence halls. Open meal privileges are extended to faculty and
staff for this day.
