Each semester, the University Senate sponsors a forum to examine an important campus issue. This Spring the Faculty Forum will focus on the state of faculty involvement in governance at the University.
- To what extent do faculty members believe they can work through the University Senate and other governance organizations to affect decisions they see as important?
- Why do some faculty participate actively in governance, while others do not see this as a useful commitment?
- What can be done to make faculty governance a more effective institution?
