Lecture on English Language Learners

The School of Education at the University at Albany has received a three-year Training for all Teachers grant from the US Office of Bilingual Education. As one of the activities of the grant, a series of discussions on English Language Learners in our schools is being held.

The next lecture is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, in ED 335 at 12:00 noon. Dr. Carlos Santiago, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University at Albany will speak on "Puerto Rican Transnational Migration and Identity: Impact of English Language Acquisition on Length of Stay in the United States."
