Please help replenish your community�s blood supply after the holiday season. You have two opportunities to donate on campus this month:

University at Albany Campus Blood Drives

Tuesday, Jan. 30
11:30 am to 5:30 pm

and

Wednesday, Jan. 31
11:30 am to 5:30 pm

Both blood drives will be held in the Campus Center Assembly Hall.

Why is blood donation so important? Many medical procedures require more blood than you might expect:

• Heart Surgery — 6 units
• Burn Treatment — 20 units
• Treatment after auto accident — 50 units
• Organ Transplant — 115 units
• Bone Marrow Transplant — 140 units

January is National Blood Donor month. Please help save a life and donate blood at one of these drives. To make an appointment, please call Rachel at 435-8083.
