- Thursday, April 26th. Fun starts at 11 am, countdown begins at 12:15 pm (as per tradition, President Hitchcock will lead the countdown). This year the Junior Class Council has chosen a beach theme and the decorations and giveaways will reflect that.
- Activities include: free caricature drawings, psychic readings, massage chairs, dunk tank with special guests from the administration, double-dutch competitions, and more!
- WCDB will broadcast live from the fountain for the day, with sound amplified to the fountain area from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. Special performances by Earth Tones and Angelic Voices of Praise.
- The Class Council of 2002 and Office of Student Activities are sponsoring a banner contest for student groups. Details can be obtained in the Student Activities Office (CC 130, 2-5566). 1st prize is $200, 2nd prize is $100, 3rd is $50.
- Food stations will be on the podium selling fried dough, pizza, lemonade, cheesesteaks, hot-dogs, hamburgers, frozen yogurt, Italian ice, tropical drinks, and the like. Kosher food options will be available.
- Lots and lots of free giveaways!
As you know, this is the campus' annual rite of passage into spring and all students, faculty and staff are invited to come out and join us. Event will go on regardless of weather, though we are hopeful for a sunny fountain day!
