Summer Session Archaeological Excavation on Cyprus
UAlbany students excavate Bronze Age site in Cyprus
The Department of Classics is sponsoring an architectural "dig" on Cyprus during the Summer Session (A CLA 329).

Participation involves an archaeological excavation of an Early Bronze Age (ca. 22250 B.C.) settlement near the south coast of the island of Cyprus in the eastern Mediterranean. In addition to instruction in excavation techniques and recording, participants help process artifacts. Course includes site tours and attendance at a one-day international archaeological symposium in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.
