THE ASSIGNMENT:

1) Go to MERLOT.org and become a member.

2) Go to the World Languages discipline group and review materials and reviews submitted by others.

3) Decide on a site you will submit to MERLOT and peer review.

4) Submit your material to MERLOT (nb, be sure the site you choose has not already been submitted!).

5) Complete the form below for the material you submitted. For each category - Description, Quality of Content, Effectiveness as a Teaching/Learning Tool, and Ease of Use - please limit the amount of text to one or two paragraphs.

Can learners understand and navigate easily?

1. Are the labels, buttons, menus, text, other user interface elements and general layout consistent and visually distinct?

4. Does the module/site provide feedback about the system's status and the user's responses?
5. Does the module/site provide appropriate flexibility in its use?
6. Does the module/site require a lot of documentation, technical support, and/or instruction for most students to successfully use it?
7. Does the module/site present information in ways that are familiar to students?
