2018 Recognition Ceremony for English and Medieval & Renaissance Studies Majors

Date: Friday, May 18, 2018

Time12:30 p.m. (students must arrive at 12:00 noon, ceremony lasts approximately 90 minutes)

Location: Campus Center Ballroom

Invitations: Once you have been approved for graduation by the Registrar's office you are automatically added to the department’s invitation list for the Recognition Ceremony. Formal letters of invitation will be mailed to both students and family shortly.

Tickets: Tickets are required. Students must register to claim their 6 tickets per graduate. RSVP forms have been emailed to all potential graduates and are due back to the English Advising Office before May 8. Tickets must be picked up before noon on May 17, and after that any leftover tickets are distributed on a first come first served basis.

Students who wish to participate in 2018 Commencement but will not complete their degree requirements by May 2018 should review the STEP 1 of the Student Checklist, to complete the Petition to Walk Early Form. The ticket RSVP form must also be returned using the same timeline as above.
