Trolian Named an ACPA Emerging Scholar

Albany, NY (March 19, 2018) - Teniell Trolian, Educational Policy & Leadership, has been named a 2018 Emerging Scholar by the ACPA-College Student Educators International.

The ACPA Emerging Scholars program recognizes and supports individuals early in their careers whose research focuses on and contributes to the field of student affairs and higher education scholarship. Trolian is one of five Emerging Scholars selected from around the country who have fulfilled the two year research and scholarship commitment, including attending two consecutive ACPA national conventions, participating in a half-day research institute, and presenting their research at a dedicated symposium. She presented a research paper with co-author E. T. Parker from the University of Kansas at this year’s annual convention entitled, Do faculty practices and student-faculty interactions shape students’ civic attitudes?
