Betty Daniel is a Professor of Economics at the University at Albany. She studies macroeconomics with a strong emphasis on international problems. Her research focuses on monetary and fiscal policies, and on causes of international financial crises including currency crises, private debt crises, and sovereign default. She teaches standard macroeconomics and international macroeconomics at the undergraduate, MA, and PhD levels.
