Diversity Conference
The Division of Counseling Psychology's Annual Diversity Conference is entirely student run and organized. Students decide on the theme, brainstorm speakers and breakout sessions, secure funding and donations for speaker honorariums, meals and supplies and present speakers and breakout sessions. 27th annual Diversity Conference: Activism and Advocacy for Social Justice
October 23rd
This year, our free, student-run conference will take place entirely over Zoom. We are very excited to welcome our speakers, including an introduction from Sonalee Rashatwar, an award-winning clinical social worker known as @thefatsextherapist on Instagram; a Q & A session with Dr. Bettina Love, author of We Want to Do More Than Survive: Abolitionist Teaching and the Pursuit of Educational Freedom; and a Keynote speech by Dr. Cori Wong, Director of the Women and Gender Collaborative at Colorado State University.
All students, faculty, and community members are welcome to attend all or part of the zoom conference. The full schedule of events is below.
