The Recruitment and Selection Procedures are designed to guide search committees through a fair, inclusive, and transformative search process. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion is committed to collaborating with deans, departments, hiring manager and others to assist in navigating through the search process. The Office of Diversity and Inclusion also oversees the campus Affirmative Action program for employment and monitors individual hiring recommendations for compliance. The recruitment and selection procedures are used as a tool by search committees to assess their equal opportunity and affirmative action efforts in recruitment and to develop, where necessary, plans to improve their efforts. The procedures further provides guidelines as we follow all federal and state regulations.
