A Place Where You are Empowered
The Women's Resource Center (WRC) celebrates ALL women’s empowerment by offering extensive programming, accessible resources and a commitment to expand our impact in the community. We advocate for all women's issues and make space to connect on the basis of community and belonging.
We strive to highlight the numerous ways women face oppression and celebrate our collective journey towards empowerment.
With several clubs and organizations passionate about issues that affect gender equality it's easy to find leadership opportunities and great communities.
The WRC leads the way in intersectional programing for women and allies across identity. Here you can find social events, community organizing and a place to expand your leadership knowledge.
Join our mailing list for updates on upcoming opportunities to get involved and make a difference. Together, we're shaping a future where every voice is heard and valued. Join us on this inspiring journey!

Internships and Service Opportunities
The WRC is a great place to volunteer or take an internship for course credit through the CPSP program or other departmental course offerings, such as those offered through the Department of Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies. We also partner to collect mutual aid and redistribute necessary materials in our community like menstrual products. Contact us with your interest in partnering to learn more.

Additionally, UAlbany’s commitment to Diversity and Inclusion, anti-discrimination policies and Bias Incident Response reporting can be explored through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
The WRC hosts and collaborates on annual networking events and celebrations that connect and empower women from all backgrounds and life experiences, along with their allies. Discover resources and ways to engage with the WRC through our tool kits, especially during Women’s History Month.
