Britnee joined the center in 2021 after graduating from the University at Albany School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health and a Certificate in Maternal and Child Health. She is currently the Research Coordinator on a state-funded project from the New York State Department of Health’s Bureau of Community Chronic Disease Prevention (BCCDP). Her previous work experience spans both the public and private sector from conducting a statewide needs assessment for a federally funded program to assisting with legislative issue briefs to inform public health policy changes.

Britnee’s public health interests include child welfare, family economic security, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and health disparities impacting children and youth. Originally from Tennessee, Britnee and her husband now live in Albany with their son, a dog, and a cat.
