Will I still have access to Handshake?
Yes, all current students will still have full access to Handshake. Job, internship, fellowship and volunteer postings are live. Campus interviewing will be held virtually, as will any events/fairs.
I am currently an applicant for on campus interviewing. What is happening with my interview process?
Recruiters have been reaching out to their applicants regarding the interview process moving forward. Please be patient if you have not heard from the recruiter, as many companies are currently still assessing their next steps and will be contacting you. Remember to check your email regularly, as well as your spam/junk folder.
Can I still schedule appointments in Handshake?
Current students and alumni who graduated less than five years ago can still schedule appointments via Handshake for a review of their resume and/or cover letter, a practice interview or help with your job search and/or Handshake account. Appointments will be conducted on Zoom, Skype or the phone.
Are companies still posting positions in Handshake?
Yes, companies are still posting positions in Handshake for students and alumni to apply for. We also encourage students and alumni to utilize Careershift for their job and internship searches. Create a Careershift account here and login to Careershift here.

Will classes and normal campus operations resume this fall?
Our top choice is to resume fully in-person instruction and regular campus operations this fall, however the health and safety of every member of our community is our top priority. We continue to monitor developments related to COVID-19 and are creating the flexibility to allow for a hybrid of in-person and remote teaching and learning, if necessary.
