Alyssa's research interests include the impact of intersecting identities (i.e. race, gender, sexual orientation) and related experiences on psychological outcomes. Alyssa enjoys working with students from diverse backgrounds who have various concerns. Approach to Therapy

Alyssa's integrative approach to therapy first begins with meeting the student where they are at and forming a therapeutic relationship. Alyssa approaches therapy through a multicultural-feminist theoretical lens while often drawing on CBT, ACT, and mindfulness.
