Angela’s academic interests include research and theory related to Community Psychology, multicultural issues, and primary care behavioral health.  Clinically, Angela has interests in multicultural and diversity issues, mood disorders, identity, self-esteem issues, and chronic illness. She also enjoys outreach and prevention work.

Approach to Therapy

Angela’s counseling style is integrative, collaborative and strength based. Her work is informed by humanistic, multicultural, cognitive-behavioral and narrative approaches.

Approach to Wellness

Angela enjoys writing, reading, watching movies, dancing, and exploring every single coffee shop and bookstore that she can find.
