Financial Aid
When your eligibility has been determined, you will be notified by email. At that point, you will be able to view your award on MyUAlbany. Visit our Accept Your Awards page to learn how to accept, reduce or decline the financial aid you’ve been offered to ensure the aid appears on your student account.
Be sure you have filed the FAFSA, have pre-registered for classes, and do not have any “To-Do” items listed under Important Notices on MyUAlbany. New York State residents must also file the NYS Student Aid Payment Application.
Excelsior Scholarship recipients will receive a revised award notice when their eligibility has been determined. Excelsior Scholarship awards amounts are pending additional information from New York State Higher Education Services Corporation related to student aid changes enacted in the New York State Budget.
