UAlbany's College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering has earned ABET accreditation for its bachelor of science in environmental and sustainable engineering. In addition, following the reunification with the Department of Nanoscale Engineering in 2023, the college has confirmed ABET accreditation for its bachelor’s degree in nanoscale engineering.
College of Nanotechnology, Science, and Engineering Dean Michele J. Grimm speaks on a wide range of issues, including recently launched public/private partnerships, the CHIPS and Science Act and women in STEM fields in the most recent episode of the Engagement Ring podcast.
From filing a first disclosure to an issued patent, the process to take an invention from an idea to the marketplace can be long and arduous. For the first time, UAlbany recognized the faculty, staff and students who submitted a patent application as part of Research and Entrepreneurship Week.
