Healthy Families New York Evaluation

Moira joined CHSR in 2018 as a researcher on the Healthy Families New York project. Before coming to the CHSR she worked on projects addressing rural community health at the Bassett Research Institute, and worked with the Healthy Gulf Healthy Communities project to investigate the impact of the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill on human health for families living on the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast. Her previous research focused on the impact of contextual stress and parenting on children’s development in early childhood.

Moira received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida and her PhD in Applied Developmental Psychopathology from the University of New Orleans.
