Applying as a Transfer Student

UAlbany’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) offers a unique opportunity for students entering with prior credit to pursue careers in computer engineering, programming, information technology (IT) management, Web development, or any number of positions critical to advancing organizations in the information age.

Each year, more than 1,500 students transfer to UAlbany from colleges and universities all over the world. Transfer students at CEAS can take advantage of enrolling in the spring or fall semester, and start work toward earning a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or information science.

Admission to all undergraduate programs is done through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Through their web site students can also check application dates and deadlines, arrange a campus tour, evaluate available AP credits, or request additional information.
