Applying as an International Student

Strategically located in New York’s Capital Region, UAlbany’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) provides the ideal setting for international students to:

  • Earn a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, computer science and applied mathematics, or information science;
  • Learn from some of the leading scholars and researchers in the field of information technology (IT), computer engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, and library services;
  • Complete studies necessary to pursue careers as computer engineers, computer analysts, programmers, IT managers or to pursue a graduate degree.

As an international student, you will become a member of a diverse group of students from around the world. UAlbany international alumni have gone on to serve as CEOs of major companies or become government and policy leaders. Students are fully prepared to pursue graduate study in their chosen field once they receive a bachelor’s degree here. UAlbany’s International Student and Scholar Services helps students connect with others from their home countries, as well as become acquainted with the different customs that comes with studying at a leading research university in the United States.

Admission to all undergraduate programs is done through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
