Professor Phyllis Galembo Gives Lecture at Annenberg Space for Photography

On Thursday, January 10th, Professor Phyllis Galembo, Department of Art & Art History, gave a lecture titled "Masquerade from Africa to the Americas" at the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles.

Professor Galembo has an MFA in Photography/Printmaking and has been a full professor at UAlbany since 1997.  She has had one person exhibitions at the International Center for Photography and the American Museum of Natural History (NYC).  The author of four books, she has been the recipient of a Fulbright Scholar Senior Research Award to Nigeria.  Professor Galembo‚Äôs work has brought her recognition with appearances on CNN, NPR Radio and NBC Today in New York City.
