The University at Albany holds dual AACSB accreditation in business administration and accounting, an elite distinction shared by fewer than 2% of world's 16,000 business schools. In 1974, The University at Albany's School of Business was the first school in the world to be accredited by AACSB at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
