Chelsea received a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University at Albany, SUNY. As an undergraduate, she spent four semesters as a research assistant at the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities where she assisted with many of CARD’s ongoing research projects. Most notably, Chelsea assisted with research on the Early Start Denver Model that investigated potential early indicators of autism spectrum disorders. She also assisted with research that investigated various barriers to the effective transition of young adults with autism from high school to adulthood. Her professional experiences include working as a gymnastics instructor for inclusive classes at Victory Gymnastics and The Little Gym. Chelsea is currently enrolled in the Master of Mental Health Counseling program at the University at Albany, SUNY.
