- Fief
- an area of land held by a lord.
- Guild
- a society of merchants or traders.
- Heretic
- someone who argues with the teachings of the Church.
- Pagans
- people who were not Christians, and worshipped gods like the Sun.
- Vassals
- people under the protection of a lord to whom they owe loyalty.
