Using the Beacon 2500 Projector
Turning Power On:
- Press
on the main power switch, located at the lower rear right of the
projector.
- Press Power on the remote control.
- Turn the computer on.
- If you need to lower or raise the projected image, turn the adjuster feet on the front of the projector
clockwise or counterclockwise.
Turning Power Off:
- Press Power on the remote control.
- The power indicator located on the front left of the projector will change to amber.
- The lamp power indicator goes off.
- The fan continues spinning for approximately 90 seconds.
- IMPORTANT: TURN OFF MAIN POWER SWITCH ONLY AFTER THE FAN HAS STOPPED
RUNNING.
Selecting Video Source
- Press the INPUT source to display information about the current video source. RGB1 should
be selected. If not press the RGB1 button on the remote control.
Adjusting the Focus
- Pressing the up or down Focus buttons on the remote control focuses the image.
Adjusting the Zoom and Focus
- Press the up and down zoom arrows on the remote control to enlarge or reduce the display.
Use the Hidden Keys For:
Adjusting the Display Position
- The Display position control keys on the remote control keys on the remote control can be
used to adjust (up, down, left and right) the position of the display.
Adjusting the Phase if the Display Flickers
- The Phase Adjustment key can only be used when the video source is RGB1 or RGB2. Press the
+ or - keys to adjust the display so that it does not flicker.
Temporarily Stopping the Display
- Press Display Off to remove the projection from the screen.
- To restore the projection, press Display Off.
Note: In order for the monitor to work, the projector must stay on at all times.
