Supported the NY State Office for the Aging on several projects such as:
- Developing a strategy
for statewide distribution of software that aids client assessment, service
delivery, and tracking.
- Initiating a study of
the effectiveness of the Elderly Nutrition Program.
- Evaluating the Aging
Services Network (ASNet) program.
US Bureau of the Census
Developed a decision process for establishing information technology
investment priorities for the US Bureau of the Census.
NYS Human Services Modernization
Served as facilitator for the "Core Team," which developed a
functional model for a "Shared Front-End" for the NYS Human Services
Modernization Strategic Planning Project.
University of Michigan School of Information
Facilitated a faculty retreat for the University of Michigan School of
Information, which celebrated its fifth year by tackling critical strategic
issues.
County Mental Health Directors
Helped County Mental Health Directors identify issues and options for a
study of information needs for service delivery management.
Workplace Conflict Resolution Program
Completed the design phase of a workplace Conflict Resolution Program for
the Federal Highway Administration.
Provided facilitation and decision analytic support to the US Army for
issues such as:
- evaluating "virtual
prototypes" for an electronic system to warn field personnel against
nuclear, chemical and biological attacks.
- reorganizing three
multi-million-dollar chemistry laboratories.
- resolving conflicts
among multiple organizations involved in the construction of facilities for the
destruction of chemical weapons.
Peer Group Retreat
Facilitated the second "Peer Group Retreat" for the Private Label
Manufacturers Association to identify critical issues facing the industry.
Welfare Reform
Returned to Cortland County to facilitate the second "Resource
Allocation Conference," building collaboration among multiple county
government and not-for-profit organizations for implementing welfare reform.
