We will look at reasons why we need to make a special effort to encourage women to pursue mathematics (e.g, the most recent NAEP findings show a re-emergence of gender gap at some grade levels,) and at resources for doing so (e.g., instructional strategies, internet sites, curriculum materials and videos, etc.)
