ZETA PHI BETA SORORITY INC.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus
of Howard University in Washington, D.C. by five women who dared to defy the
norm and chose to reject membership in the previously traditional Black Sororities.
Instead, these five visionaries ventured out on there own to establish a new
organization of sisters based upon the ideals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love
and Finer Womanhood. The five women:Arizona Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler,
Fannie Pettie and Pearl Neal with the guidance and encouragement of two of the
Founders of Phi Beta Sigma, Inc., these great women chartered Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
These five ladies became forever known and adorned as the "Five Pearls". As of today,
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has grown to more than 500 graduate and undergraduate
chapters located throughout the United States, Germany, West Africa the Bahamas
and the Caribbean Islands.
The mission of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. is to promote ideals of service, charity,
promoting service projects on college campuses and in the community, civic and
