Dear Academicians/Graduate Students,

We are three graduate students from the following universities: University at Albany, SUNY; Florida State University and San Diego State University. Our specialization includes mathematics education, science education and educational technology. We are interested in the meaning attached to the term "interactivity" as used in mathematics and science education. Hence, we are collecting data on how "interactivity" is defined and used in different contexts.

We understand that you are very busy, but the survey consists of 19 questions and it will approximately take 20 minutes to fill out and return. Besides, we believe that your answer is very important for us due to the fact that it will help to come up with a valid conclusion about this up-to-date concept in education. Although we ask that you include your name, we will use it only to ensure that we are not accepting duplicate responses to our study. Your name will be removed from any discussion or written work regarding this study.

If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to write or give one of us a call. We can be reached by phone or e-mail, whichever you prefer.

Thank you for participating in this survey.

Sincerely,
