On Friday, April 24, 2015, the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University at Albany, SUNY, will host its fourth Maheshwari Colloquium, endowed in honor of Man Mohan and Asha Devi Maheshwari by Raj Maheshwari, ’83.
The speaker will be Jill Pipher, Professor of Mathematics at Brown University and Director of ICERM, the Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics. The title of her lecture will be:
“The Mathematics of Lattice-Based Cryptography”
The colloquium will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Lecture Center 19 (directions).
Refreshments will be served from 3:15 p.m. just outside the auditorium.
