Creating a Web Photo Gallery

Dreamweaver provides a simple way to create an entire navigation and directory structure for photos on your website. It will build the code for you and create the folders necessary.

To Start:

Create the new Web Gallery by Commands>Create Web Photo Album. Fill out the resulting dialog box as follows:

This will quickly open up Fireworks to format the images. It will then tell you when the gallery is created. A file "index.html" will be on your workspace which is the file where the thumbnail images reside.

From here, you can style the gallery using the GUI like we learned earlier.
