by Judy Koblintz Madnick, '61

Dear Milne Alumni and Supporters,

In this issue:

* Please Send News!
* Digitization Project Update!
* Class of '63 Reunion Donation
* Sad News

(Please note that links included in Milne Alumni Newsletters may at some point become obsolete.)

Please send any news that you would like to share with other alumni, whether it's personal, Milne-related, or...! Thanks in advance for your contributions...which will make this monthly newsletter much more interesting.

There were three new donors to the Digitization Project since the last report. To date we have received $10,917 toward digitizing all available Crimson & White and Bricks & Ivy editions. This includes $5,000 in matching funds from the Marcia Brown Library Fund. We will soon begin our digitzation project, which will enable us to enjoy full-text web access of many of our Milne yearbooks and/or newspapers via searchable files.

Please remember that the total necessary to complete this project is $25,000 (but, as with anything else, the price may rise as time passes) if you haven't yet donated or wish to increase your contribution, we're not finished yet!

For further information, see A list of donations is available at

Thank you to the Class of '63 for their recent Reunion Donation to the Digitization Project. And congratulations on your 50th!

Please note that I rely upon the Albany Times Union and input from other alumni for this information, so if you become aware of someone who has passed away, please let me know. If a name is underlined, it represents a link to the obituary. Many obituaries are available free for a limited time only.

William T. Wade, '53, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2013.

Gerald J. Wolfgang, Sr., '46, passed away on September 27, 2013.

Thanks to all of you for your interest in Milne Alumni activities.
