CLASS OF '67 REUNION

From Dean Elsworth:

"The Milne Class of 1967 will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of our high school graduation during the weekend of October 13th through the 15th. Two of the planned activities will open to other Milne alumni and they are:

"1. On Friday evening, October 13th, the gathering will be at the Washington Tavern (250 Western Ave.) starting at 6:00 pm. We will particularly enjoy seeing alumni who knew us during our Milne years. Participants will pay their own way at this event. Also, due to the size of the WT's back room, please contact Bob Brand at the link below to make sure that we have room for you.

"2. There will be a guided tour of Milne Hall at 10:00 am on the morning of Saturday, 10/14. All Milne alumni are encouraged to join us. Meet in the courtyard in front of Page Hall.

"If you are interested in joining the the Class of '67 at either of these events, please let us know that we should look for you by contacting Bob Brand."

GOOD NEWS FROM GINNAH HOWARD, '57

Ginnah Howard recently did a reading with eight other writers at the Windfall Dutch Barn in Salt Springville, NY. For her presentation she read four love poems she had written to her partner over a period of 30 years--kind of a "map back to places I've been." Someone in the audience made videos of each performance--by balancing his phone on the end of a broom handle to keep it from jiggling! Here is the YouTube link of her reading.

Do you have a novel, memoir, or creative nonfiction manuscript ready for an in-depth critique? Author Ginnah Howard is now available to provide a critique of your full-length manuscript: what works and what doesn’t, and how to improve it to make it more ready for publication through an agent or as an Indie using one of the print-on-demand services. Check Ginnah Howard’s website, http://www.GinnahHoward.com, and view her readings on YouTube.

SAD NEWS

Please note that I rely upon www.legacy.com and input from other alumni for this information, so if you become aware of someone who has passed away, please let me know. If a name is underlined, it represents a link to the obituary. Many obituaries are available free for a limited time only.

Richard E. Keefer, '57, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.

Thanks to all of you for your interest in Milne Alumni activities.
