MILNE ALUMNI REUNION UPDATE

We currently have 50 reservations for alumni and guests, ranging from the Class of '49 to the Class of '74. So far, the Class of '57 has the largest number of reservations, as they celebrate 55 years since graduation. The Class of '62 is not far behind, celebrating 50 years since graduation. In addition, we have a reservation for one former faculty member, Coach Bob Lewis. If there are no objections, I will post the reservation list (just names and class year) next month.

If you don't have your invitation and reservation forms, they are available here.

MILNE ALUMNI CHORUS UPDATE

From Richard Propp: "We had an excellent planning meeting Friday, April 27th. It was still cold in Albany. Chuck Eson is graciously taking over as coordinator. Thank you Chuck! He worked out a new schedule and we chose the songs for September 8th. Roxanne Reynolds '52 was there from the Milnettes, and Judy Madnick took some pictures. Our next sing is May 21 at 10:30 a.m. Newcomers are welcome."

And from Chuck Eson: "We have a new agenda. We're going to practice four songs and a two-song medley, plus the 'Alma Mater,' to present at the All-Milne Reunion in September. We're going to have two practice sessions in May, two in June, one in July, and two in August just before the reunion. We'll meet on Mondays at Page Hall at 10:30 a.m. for about an hour and a half. Practice dates are the following: May 21, June 11, June 25, July 16, August 13, and August 20. Please mark these dates on your calendar. If you can't make it for a particular session, it will be up to you to practice the words and music on your own. Our mission, if you choose to accept it, is to have these songs virtually memorized for the presentation. It will be particularly important to attend the last two sessions in August. This message will self-destruct in five seconds, so please keep the information saved in a secure location."

Present at the April 27th rehearsal were (from left to right): Judy (Koblintz) Madnick, Peter Leue,
Roxanne (Reynolds) Harris, Dr. Richard Propp, Barbara (Wolz) Matson, and Chuck Eson.
