WHEN?  NOON the day after the US declares/escalates the war in Iraq

WHERE?  East steps of the Capitol 
(Eagle St./Washington Ave.) 

Tentative plans include speakers, music, poetry, 
street theater, and a march to the Federal Building

All area residents are encouraged to attend in demonstration
of our opposition to a U.S. attack.

War with Iraq will not make us safe.  Preparation for this war has
already eroded civil liberties by curbing freedom of speech and
promoting racial profiling by the INS and other authorities; diverted
funding from needed economic and social programs; and shown the United
States to be a greater threat to world peace than those the
administration has targeted.  Please add your voice to the millions of
world citizens who say: "US Out Of IRAQ!!"
