EMERGENCY CONVERGENCE ON THE WHITE HOUSE!

A month after the huge, world-wide march for peace and against the
Bush Administration's War Plans, and a week after International
Women's Day peace events including protests at the White House,
protesters will again make their stances against war and racism
visible in Washington DC. Information about the national call for an
Emergency Convergence on the White House is available at

Local planning is underway. Bus(es) will leave from the Rensselaer, NY
Yankee Trails bus station at 10:30pm on Friday the 14th and return
early Sunday morning. There will be stops in Pittsfield Mass. and

At Thursday's meeting of CDJP, at least one person planning to go to
DC will offer to carry a sign noting the many who cannot make the trip
but who have NOT swung their support to Bush's War. If you are
interested in helping organize a "Protest by Proxy" -- whether as
someone going to DC or as someone with ideas on how to graphically
convey the message that "there are many more like me back home",
