Background: Nicholas received his B.S. in Neurobiology & Psychology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2005. Nicholas attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic medicine before deciding to switch from a career path of Psychiatry to Clinical Psychology. Prior to entering graduate school, he worked at the Human Behavioral Pharmacology Lab at the University of Chicago under Harriet de Wit PhD. Nicholas did pre-doctoral training for his 4th and 5th years of his PhD in Clinical Psychology, studying the neuroimaging and neurophysiology of cognitive control and attention with Jin Fan, PhD at the Laboratory of Neuroimaging at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He is currently completing his pre-doctoral clinical internship in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. In August, Nicholas will begin a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine.
