Welcome to the LIGA Filipina website! LIGA is the Filipino group which has been established at University at Albany campus. There are many goals we strive to achieve within the affiliation of our members and the University. Here on campus we aim to promote the Filipino culture, educate others about our roots, and create valuable friendships. We organize and create fun events and are fortunate to have many opportunities to meet new people and get involved in campus related events. Each semester LIGA seems to keep growing and becoming a stronger unity. We offer different workshops and events throughout the semester which are guaranteed both fun and educational. LIGA is more than just an organization, club/group (whatever other affiliations label themselves as) ...we're a FAMILY!
