Lavender Graduation
The Lavender Graduation is an annual celebration for Graduating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Students at the University at Albany.
During the ceremony Undergraduates & Graduates celebrating commencment and returning Alumni are presented with tassels acknowledging their idenities and contributions to the diverse university community
This event is brought to you by the Office of Multicultural Student Success and The Gender & Sexuality Concerns Office.
The Lavender Graduation is accompanied by an awards ceremony celebrating Faculty, Staff, Students and Alum who have contributed greatly to the LGBTQ Community.
