Kathleen Ahearn, the creator of this site, is a library school student at the University at Albany in Albany, New York, where she is about to graduate with an MSIS and certification as a public librarian. She also holds a bachelor's degree in English from Vassar College. She has worked with children of all ages both in mainstream and special education settings. A practicing Roman Catholic, she has also taught religious education classes to elementary school students and continues to be interested in sharing her faith with Catholic young people.
