You can save paper by printing several slides on each sheet of paper. To do this, click (in sequence) Acrobat's "Print" and "Properties" icons; on the "Layout" page, set "Orientation" to "Landscape", then set "Pages Per Sheet" to the desired value. I personally prefer 2 pages per sheet, as it leaves sufficient room for comments.
