Ignacio J. Martinez-Moyano is an Adjunct Research Associate at the Center for Policy Research at the University at Albany, State University of New York. His research focuses on organizational and policy analysis in complex systems using system dynamics modeling. His current research interests include behavioral aspects of compliance and security erosion and methodological aspects of modeling and simulation. Dr. Martinez-Moyano also teaches at the Rockefeller College and collaborates with the Center for Technology in Government.

Dr. Martinez-Moyano recently received the Excellence in Doctoral Research Award and the Excellence in Graduate Student Teaching Award presented during the Graduate Commencement Ceremony in which he was designated the Graduate Speaker for the Department of Public Administration and Policy. Dr. Martinez-Moyano presented the talk "Rule Dynamics: Toward a Theory of Rule Change in Organizations"

Ignacio lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife Claudia, and their children Ignacio Javier and Paula.
