What is Hamagshimim??  Hamagshimim is a dynamic Israel- Zionist Presence at SUNY-Albany and also on college campuses nation wide. We are one of the two pro-Israel groups at Albany. Hamagshimim is a pluralistic, non-partisan movement which gives students the opportunity  to explore and strengthen our personal ties with Israel. Hamagshimim is sponsored by Hadassah: The Women's Zionist Organization, and our sibling movement is Young Judaea.

Our mission is to build Zionist and Jewish identity by emphasizing the centrality of Israel in the lives of all Jews, as well as Aliyah as a natural fulfillment of that identity.
