 Updated Internship Resources
The webpage with resources for internship and job information has been updated. You can now find a list of organizations where students have interned in the past and sign up for the GPSA Listserv where job announcements are made.

The GIS/World Town Planning Day event was held on November 8th with a full day's program including student, faculty and professional presentations, an address by Congressman Paul Tonko, and an evening speaker on sprawl repair by Galina Tachieva (Duany Plater-Zyberk & Company) who had this to say about MRP students, "It was a real pleasure to meet the talented and curious students at the the University of Albany who were an ideal audience for a topic such as sprawl repair."

 CDPA Luncheons

The Capital District Planners Association holds monthly luncheons on a variety of planning topics. All luncheons begin promptly at 12pm and there is a $5 fee for students. Lunch is included. Make sure to reserve your spot in advance!

 National & Upstate APA Events
 
In 2010, planners traveled downriver to New Orleans where the National Conference focused on the region's recovery from the 2005 hurricanes. The 2011 National Conference coming to the Northeast in Boston.
