Starting at bottom, make a chain 20 inches long. (18 ch sts to 1 inch)
Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. repeat from * across. untill there are 103 sps. Cut off remaining chain. ch 5, turn. Follow chart to the top.

Edging: Make 3 sc in sp, sc at end of next row, ch 3, st st in last sc- a picot made. Working across short side, make *(2 sc in next sp, sc in next row) 5 times;picot, 2 sc in next sp, sc in next row, picot;(2 sc in next sp, sc in next row) 3 times; picot, 2 sc in next sp, sc in next row, picot. Repeat from * across, ending w/ a picot, in corner sp make 2 sc, picot and 2 sc, sc in next dc, picot. Work other 3 sides to correspond. Join and break off.
