Materials: Knit-cro-sheen, Steel crochet hook # 7.

Chair back measures about 13 ½ x 21 inches; each arm piece measures about 9 ½ x 13 ½ inches.

Chair Back:

Motif:

Ch 6, join w/sl st.

1^st rnd: ch 5 *, dc in rng, ch 2. Repeat from * 4 more times. Sl st in 3^rd st of ch-5 (6 sp).

2^nd rnd: Ch 4, 2 tr in same place as sl st, * ch 2, tr in next sp, ch 3, sl st in last tr, ch 2, 3 tr in next tr. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-2 with sl st in in 4^th st of ch-4. Hereafter work only in the back loop of each tr.

3^rd rnd: Ch 4, tr in same place as sl st, * tr in next tr, 2 tr in next tr, ch 7, 2 tr in next tr of 3 tr-group. Repeat from * around. Join last ch -7 to 4^th st of ch-4.

4^th rnd: Ch 4, tr in same place as sl st, * tr in next 3 tr, 2 tr in next tr, ch 4, skip 3 ch of ch -7, sc in next ch, ch 3, sc in same place, ch 4, 2 tr in next tr. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-4 to 4^th st of ch-4 first made. Break off.

Make 17 mor motifs. Place them in position as illustrated, wrong sides up, having 6 motifs on the 1^st row, 5 on the 2^nd row, 4 on 3^rd row, and 3 on 4^th row. Picking up a single loop from each tr, sew the tr-groups together with over and over stitches.

Arm Piece:

Make 10 Motifs. Sew together 4 motifs for center row. Sew 3 motifs on each side of center row.
